To savor the fresh aroma of the white tea, first boil the water to the "first boil" of 160°F (71°C). Before ading the boild water to the white tea, it should be no more than 160-170°F (71-77°C) at most. White tea can withstand longer infuison times and it is customary to steep the ta for 7-10 minutes. Initialy, a short steep of 1 to 3 minutes is preferable.
